Creator systems and revenue ops for media businesses that have outgrown founder-led chaos. In two weeks I map your whole operation, score it, and hand you a prioritized 90-day plan. If you want it run, I stay on as your fractional COO.
Most of my work starts at a trigger point. A launch three weeks out with nothing behind it. A platform migration that could break live payments. An ops person who just left with everything in their head. A checkout that has been quietly failing for months. The common thread is a business that outgrew the way it is run.
Not a CRM contractor, and not a strategy deck. I work across your systems, your revenue path, your assets, and your team, and I tie every fix to launch reliability, revenue captured, and how much still depends on you.
"I work with your existing team and vendors, not around them. The goal is a business that runs on systems instead of memory."
One system. Run for you.
This is the operation behind an audience that size, and it runs without the founder buried in it. That's exactly what I bring to yours.
Every engagement starts with a Trail Map. Fixed scope, two weeks, and a plan you keep either way.
Two weeks. I map your operation across six pillars, score it, and document every risk and revenue leak I find. You walk away with an Operations Blueprint: a prioritized 90-day plan with an owner on every action.
I stay on and run the roadmap. Your systems, your launches, your team and vendors, week to week, with an operating rhythm and reporting so the business stops depending on you to hold it together.
Launching a course, membership, or program? I build the back end for it from scratch and hand over a documented, working system instead of another pile of tools.
Every Trail Map ends in an Operations Blueprint: your current state mapped, all six pillars scored, every risk and revenue leak documented, and a prioritized 90-day plan with an owner on each action. Real pages below, client details changed.
You keep the Blueprint whether or not we work together after the two weeks.
CRM, checkout, and funnel reliability, so the money you already earned actually lands.
Asset pipelines and validation from raw file to published, so launches stop waiting on handoffs.
Tested 3-2-1 backups for terabytes of 4K footage. A dead drive never kills a launch.
Editors, designers, and vendors with clear owners, so work stops routing through you.
Weekly rhythm, clear owners, one source of truth. You watch the scoreboard, not the chaos.
Production, revenue, and team activity turned into simple views you can decide on.
My background is in technology. For years I lived in systems, infrastructure, and operations, the unglamorous machinery that keeps a business running: system administration, backend architecture, data and security, and the automations that hold everything together.
Then I moved into the creative world, and found the two rarely meet. Creators are brilliant at making things and stuck running the business behind them. I became the person who ran that business. For a top 0.05% podcast and a brand with 5.9 million followers across social, I have owned the full operational lifecycle: production and filming, file transfer and multi-system backup, editor coordination, content review and publishing, the CRM and course-sales infrastructure, website and backend administration, project management, vendor management, and direct leadership of the team.
Happy Trails Operations is where those two worlds meet. I bring the technical depth of an infrastructure operator and the fluency of someone who lives in content, so creators can hand over the machine and get back to creating.
Connect on LinkedInThe trigger was speed. The brand was scaling faster than the operation behind it could hold, and every process still ran through the founder. I came in to build systems that could carry the growth, and took ownership of the back end so the creative could stay creative.
Before: footage on single drives, a pipeline that lived in people's heads, and a founder who was the bottleneck for every decision. After: redundant tested backups, a documented capture-to-publish pipeline, a stabilized CRM and course-sales stack, and a team with clear owners, all handed off so the founder could step back to the work only they can do.
Two weeks, fixed scope. Kickoff and intake, then discovery across your pipeline, assets, tech stack, revenue path, team, and reporting. Each pillar gets scored, every risk and revenue leak gets documented, and it ends in a live walkthrough of your Operations Blueprint and the recommended first move.
No. Systems are where I start because that is usually where the delays and the missing money hide, but the work gets judged on launch reliability, revenue captured, and how much still depends on you. I own the roadmap, the team, and the operating rhythm, not just the tooling.
No. I stay platform agnostic wherever possible. I work across whatever CRM, course platform, and tools you already use, and only recommend a change when it clearly serves reliability or revenue.
No, and I am direct about this up front. I work with your existing team and vendors, not around them. Most of the time I take load off an overloaded ops person and hand them systems, clear ownership, and backup. Roles get agreed in writing before I start.
Fixed scope, fixed fee, delivered in two weeks, and you keep the Blueprint either way. If you move into a retainer within 30 days, the entire Trail Map fee is credited toward your first month. I also cap how many engagements I take at once, so the ones I take get real attention.
Those are the moments this pays for itself. Tell me what is coming and what is breaking, and I'll tell you straight whether a Trail Map is the right first move.
